Current Volunteer Opportunities
Known for working to end preventable blindness, Lions participate in a vast variety of projects important to their communities.
These projects range from cleaning up local parks to providing supplies to victims of natural disasters.
Buena Park Noon Lions rasies money all year long to help people in our communtiy with eye glasses, hearing aids, and many other areas of need.
Our Club sponsors Sight First, Centralia School District Hearing impaired classes, we test School children throughout Buena Park and North Orange County for Eye glasses and Hearing aids, our work with Silverado Days generates over $100,000.00 annually which is given back to the community in grants for schools, city projects, parks and many other servive projects

Howdy folks! Silverado Sam here. Silverado Days are on their way. I'd like you to join us as we celebrate 59 years of good times in this, the center of the Southland. We're celebrating with games, cra fts, contests, rides, food and fun for the whole family.You can even enter to win great prizes!
Good times start at 5:00 pm, Friday, October 16th at William Peak Park. Don't miss it!

•Silverado Days draws over 60,000 people over a 3-day period to Peak Park in Buena Park
•The festival is sponsored by the Buena Park Noon Lions Club, and this shindig raises thousands of dollars for local charities every year
•Local businesses can join the booster club to help offset festival costs and ensure more money for local charities
•Last year there were 16 food booths, 20 game booths, 90 arts and crafts booth and 30 carnival rides to share with your family and friends
•Featured contests include a Car Show, a World Amateur Arm Wrestling Championship, a Amateur Horseshoe Contest, a Pie-Eating Contest, a Hog Calling, a Baby Contest, a Men's Leg Contest, a Dog Show, a Chili Cook-off and much more!!
