When Karl Bruhn, widely recognized as the "Father of Recreational Music Making," made a presentation at a One Yamaha meeting last year at the Company's headquarters in Buena Park, it sparked an idea i n longtime Yamaha employee Laurene Keane.

Along with her daughter Laura Mackenzie, Keane participates in Y-Maidens, a YMCA-sponsored mother-daughter organization for girls from kindergarten through fourth grade.
